holland on sea

Being The North Sea, it can be chilly, but wait until June and usually the sea is lovely and warm for swimming at Holland on sea beach which runs all the way to Holland Haven and beyond. Within east reach of our vacation rental, there is a plethora of additional water sports to indulge in - jet ski, water ski, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kite surfing, paddle boarding, to name a few.  Sea fishing from the beach is often being enjoyed all year round.  

The local Thai chi, running and cycling clubs regularly meet on the promenade.  Kite flying is also popular at the Haven on windy days. The Haven is also home to an extensive salt marshland area and offers hides for birdwatching. There are public footpaths from Holland, past the Haven and along to Frinton and Walton via the sea wall.
